Repairing chips and gaps with bonding

Composite bonding is tooth-coloured resin applied straight onto the tooth and shaped by hand. Most cases need no drilling and no injection, and are finished in one visit.

Edge bonding uses the same material on the biting edges of the front teeth where they have worn or chipped.

Meet the team

Our dentists and oral health therapists care for patients six days a week. Between them they cover everything from routine check-ups and children's care through to implants, aligners and cosmetic work.

We publish our fees, offer payment plans, and do not charge for consults on implants, aligners or cosmetic work.

We explain your options plainly and give you the cost in writing before any treatment starts.

Free consults for bigger treatment

Consults for implants, aligners and cosmetic work are free. They include X-rays, a 3D scan, photos and a written plan.

Fees on the website

New patient exam, clean and X-rays $149. Current fees for every treatment are on our pricing page, and payment plans are available.

Same-day appointments

We keep emergency times free each day. Implant patients can usually have a temporary tooth fitted on the day.

Monday to Wednesday 9am to 6pm, Thursday 9am to 9pm, Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sunday by appointment. Located at Melrose Central with free undercover parking, close to bus routes and major roads.

What bonding can fix

Chipped or worn edges, small gaps, teeth that look short, and marks that whitening will not shift. With good care, bonding usually lasts five to eight years before it needs touching up.

What to expect

  • A free cosmetic consult with a digital preview.
  • Usually one appointment of one to two hours.
  • A polish and bite check before you leave.

Common questions

Does it hurt?

Usually not. Most cases need no drilling or anaesthetic.

Can it be undone?

In most cases, yes. Little or no tooth is removed.

How do I look after it?

Brush and floss as normal, and avoid biting nails or opening things with your teeth.
