Why we opened Lumi

We opened Lumi because we wanted appointments that aren't rushed and prices people know before they start. In practice that means longer bookings, written quotes and time to talk things through.

Whether it's been six months or six years since your last visit, you'll feel welcome here. We see a lot of nervous patients and people who've had bad experiences elsewhere. No judgement, just thoughtful care designed around you.

New patient FAQs

What does the $149 include?

An exam, X-rays, a scale and clean, and a written plan with the costs set out.

Can I claim on my health fund?

Yes. We claim on the spot with HICAPS, so you only pay the gap. We're an nib First Choice provider, so nib members pay no gap on check-ups and cleans.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just your health fund card (if applicable) and any relevant medical history. If you have previous dental x-rays or records, those can be helpful but aren't essential.

Where are you located?

Shop LG16, Lower Ground Floor, Melrose Central, 35 Hope St, Melrose Park NSW 2114. Free parking on site. We're easy to reach from Ryde, West Ryde, Ermington, Meadowbank and surrounding suburbs.
