Full arch implants replace a whole upper or lower set of teeth with a permanent bridge anchored to a small number of implants. Unlike a denture, it stays in. You care for it like natural teeth and eat the foods you enjoy.

Travelling from interstate

Patients come to us from Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and other parts of Australia for full-arch treatment. Before you book flights, you can send us recent photos and any X-rays or scans you already have, then talk through your options with one of our dentists by video or phone.

Full-arch treatment usually involves a planning visit, the surgery day when your fixed temporary teeth are fitted, and later visits to check healing and fit the final bridge. We map out these appointments with you at the start, so you know how many trips to plan for and how long to stay in Sydney each time.

Is the procedure painful?

Most people are comfortable with local anaesthetic. Sedation is available for nervous patients.

How long does it take?

Many patients receive fixed temporary teeth on the day of surgery, with the final bridge fitted after healing.

How do I look after them?

Brush and clean around the bridge daily and see us for regular check-ups, the same as natural teeth.

Am I suitable for full arch implants?

It depends on your general health, how much bone you have and whether you smoke. The 3D scan at your free consult shows how much bone is available, and we will tell you plainly if full arch implants are not the right option for you.

How much do full arch implants cost?

The cost depends on how many implants you need, whether any teeth need removing and the type of final bridge. You receive a written quote at your consult before anything is decided. You can spread the cost with humm, from $0 deposit.

Can I have full arch implants if I wear dentures now?

Many people who choose full arch implants have worn dentures before. Long-term denture wear can reduce the bone in the jaw, so the 3D scan is used to check that the implants can be placed where they are needed.

Can I have full-arch treatment if I live interstate?

Yes. You can send photos and any existing X-rays or scans, and talk with one of our dentists by video or phone before you book travel. We then plan your visits so you know how many trips to expect.

What happens at each stage

It starts with a thorough consult and a 3D scan so we can assess your jaw and plan a full-arch solution precisely. We talk through your options and give you a clear, written plan.

On treatment day, the implants are placed and a fixed set of teeth is attached, often on the same day, under local anaesthetic with sedation available if you would prefer.

We review your healing over the following months and fit your final teeth once everything has settled, with regular check-ups to keep your new smile in great shape.
