Which veneer type is right for you?

There are two main types of veneers, and the right one depends on what you want to change and how much of it. Both are thin porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth — the main difference is how much, if any, of the tooth surface needs to be touched beforehand.

We'll tell you honestly which option suits your teeth at your free consultation. Not everyone is a candidate for no-prep veneers — it depends on your current tooth position, bite and how much you want to change. We show you a digital preview of the expected result before any decision is made.

Ceramic Veneers

Custom-made porcelain shells requiring a small, one-time tooth preparation. Best for significant colour change, reshaping or closing gaps. Designed to last 10-15 years or more.

No-Prep Veneers

Ultra-thin porcelain applied with minimal or no tooth preparation. A reversible option for the right candidate — best for subtle reshaping and brightening.

Stain Resistant

Porcelain is highly resistant to staining from coffee, wine and food, maintaining its colour and lustre far longer than composite resin.

Digital Smile Preview

Veneer FAQs

How much do porcelain veneers cost?

From $1,800 per tooth for ceramic veneers. No-prep options also available. Full written quote at your free consultation.

What is the difference between ceramic and no-prep veneers?

Ceramic veneers require a small, one-time tooth preparation — typically 0.3 to 0.7mm of enamel removed to create space for the veneer. This gives the most control over shape and colour, and studies report 10-year survival rates above 90%. No-prep veneers are ultra-thin (around 0.2mm) and are placed with minimal or no tooth removal, making them reversible for suitable candidates. The trade-off is they suit a narrower range of cases. Your candidacy depends on tooth position, bite and how much you want to change. We assess this at your free consultation.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

10-15 years or more. Studies report over 90% survival at 10 years for correctly placed veneers with good oral hygiene.

Is the procedure painful?

Minimal. Preparation is done under local anaesthesia. Temporary veneers are placed while your permanents are made, so you are never without teeth.

How many appointments are needed?

Two appointments: preparation and placement, usually 2-3 weeks apart while the lab crafts your veneers. Consultation is separate and free.
