Replacing a missing tooth with an implant

An implant is a small titanium post placed in the jaw where a tooth is missing. Once the bone has grown around it, a crown is fitted on top. It is fixed in place and works much like a natural tooth.

We plan each implant from a CBCT 3D X-ray and place it with a printed surgical guide.

Meet the team

Our dentists and oral health therapists care for patients six days a week. Between them they cover everything from routine check-ups and children's care through to implants, aligners and cosmetic work.

We publish our fees, offer payment plans, and do not charge for consults on implants, aligners or cosmetic work.

We explain your options plainly and give you the cost in writing before any treatment starts.

Free consults for bigger treatment

Consults for implants, aligners and cosmetic work are free. They include X-rays, a 3D scan, photos and a written plan.

Fees on the website

New patient exam, clean and X-rays $149. Current fees for every treatment are on our pricing page, and payment plans are available.

Same-day appointments

We keep emergency times free each day. Implant patients can usually have a temporary tooth fitted on the day.

Monday to Wednesday 9am to 6pm, Thursday 9am to 9pm, Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, Sunday by appointment. Located at Melrose Central with free undercover parking, close to bus routes and major roads.

How treatment works

First comes a consult and 3D scan. The implant is placed under local anaesthetic, with sedation available if you prefer. After a few months of healing we fit the final crown. Most cases take three to six months from start to finish.

Common questions

How much does an implant cost?

$3,950 each when three or more implants are placed together, or $4,950 each for one or two. This includes the implant, abutment and crown. Extractions and bone grafting are extra if needed.

Does it hurt?

The area is numbed, so you should feel pressure rather than pain. IV sedation is available.

How long do implants last?

Many last 15 years or more. It depends on your gum health, cleaning at home and regular check-ups.
