Modern wisdom tooth extraction is less traumatic than it used to be. We use atraumatic extraction techniques that minimise bone and gum damage, and often use rotary instruments rather than forceps for safer removal. For difficult extractions, surgical extraction under IV sedation is available. After extraction, we provide detailed aftercare instructions. Most people experience minimal swelling and can return to work within a few days. We schedule follow-up appointments to monitor healing and ensure optimal recovery.
